Dua Against the Evil Eye
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ، وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
Aʿūdhu bi-kalimāti-llāhi-t-tāmmati min kulli shayṭānin wa hāmmah, wa min kulli ʿaynin lāmmah
“I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from every devil and every poisonous creature, and from every evil eye.”
Why This Dua
The Prophet ﷺ used to seek Allah's protection for al-Hasan and al-Husayn using these words, and say: 'Your forefather Ibrahim used to seek protection for Ismail and Ishaaq with these same words.'
