Dua Before Entering the Toilet
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Bismillāh, Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika mina-l-khubthi wa-l-khabāʾith
“In the name of Allah. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the male and female evil spirits.”
Why This Dua
The Prophet ﷺ said to seek this protection before entering the toilet. It shields the person from the jinn that inhabit unclean places. Enter with the left foot.
